We rejected this story because it was slightly too purple in its prose. Certainly not a bad piece but got edged out for BZA3 by stories that were a little easier to read. Dimes is our buddy and he’s definitely a talented guy. But story selection is really tough and often falls to nitty gritty details. We hope to see more from Dimes in the future.
